SPECIFICATION LABELS
GRAIN SORGHUMS
To simplify matters to ensure that there is no confusion with the different seed treatments, HSR Seeds has adopted a colour coded labelling system. Please note that only the highest quality seed will be treated with the necessary insect treatments such as Cruiser or Cosmos for ground insect control. In future, all grain sorghum will be packed in standard HSR Seeds bags and will be colour coded as follows to signify the treatment:
1 BLUE labels (PLUS): seed treated with Cruiser and Concep seed safener as well as standard seed dressing.
2 RED labels (PLUS): Seed treated with Cruiser only as well as standard seed seed dressing.
3 YELLOW labels: Seed treated with Cosmos only as well as standard seed dressing.
4 WHITE labels: Seed treated with standard seed dressing.

MAIZE & POPCORN
1 RED labels (PLUS): Seed treated with Cruiser only as well as standard seed seed dressing.
2 WHITE labels: Seed treated with standard seed dressing.

SUNFLOWER
All sunflower seed will be PLUS treated with either Cruiser or Gaucho for ground insect control as well as standard seed dressing.

HSR Seeds Seeds are constantly developing new products at the HSR Seeds Research Station. Our commitment to research is never-ending.
Every year we release at least one new product (sometimes more).
These are all plants which have shown superior performance in the field. And when they pass our critical testing processes, we breed them and add them to our commercial stocks.
